Job Description
PURPOSE
To lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communication strategies for the unit that strengthen brand positioning, enhance market presence, and drive engagement across multiple platforms. The role ensures alignment between brand storytelling, business objectives, and customer experience while leveraging innovative channels and partnerships to achieve measurable results.
KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to : Business Head, GM Marketing, Director Sales & Marketing
Reporting Roles: Marketing Executive, Marketing Specialist, Marketing Coordinator
Interacts with :
- External Media, PR agencies, creative agencies, vendors, partners, influencers, Unit Heads, Club Heads
- Internal Senior Leadership, Sales Teams, Operations, HR
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Operational Excellence
- Define, implement, and oversee integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, PR, and events to achieve brand and business goals.
- Maintain consistent quality, timeliness, and impact in campaign execution and reporting.
- Leverage digital analytics, CRM, and marketing automation tools to improve audience reach, engagement, and conversion.
Applied Learning
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and media innovations to adapt marketing approaches proactively.
- Introduce creative storytelling and content strategies to boost brand engagement.
- Analyse campaign ROI, media effectiveness, and customer sentiment to refine tactics.
People Management
- Provide direction, guidance, and mentorship to the marketing team to deliver excellence.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and recommend upskilling programs.
Business & Financial Acumen
- Manage the marketing budget to ensure optimal ROI on campaigns and initiatives.
- Oversee vendor contracts, sponsorship agreements, and cost negotiations.
- Present campaign dashboards and market performance reports to leadership.
Leadership
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, aligning marketing priorities with organizational goals.
- Lead high-profile campaigns, media launches, and strategic brand collaborations.
- Represent the brand at industry events, exhibitions, and community platforms.
Brand Ambassador
- Safeguard brand identity and ensure consistent representation across all channels.
- Develop compelling PR strategies to position the brand as an industry leader.
- Promote a brand-led culture within the organization, ensuring employees embody brand values.
Managing Legal and Compliance Practices
- Ensure all marketing content complies with advertising standards, brand guidelines, and intellectual property regulations.
- Oversee contract approvals for creative, media, and sponsorship deals.
- Maintain accurate records of media assets, contracts, and campaign documentation.
Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure safe practices in marketing events, shoots, and promotional activities.
- Brief teams on safety protocols for on-ground activations and brand engagements.
- Record and address any incidents during marketing operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS / HIRING PROFILE
Qualifications:
- Graduate Journalism /Mass Communication / English Hons. with creative writing skills
- Formal training in Journalism and or a university degree or equivalent experience in public relations, communications, journalism, and/or marketing with excellent communication skills
Work Experience:
1012 years of progressive marketing and communications experience, preferably in hospitality, luxury retail, or premium service industries
