About the role

As the Public relations & partnerships manager, you will be responsible for identifying, building, and managing strategic partnerships and on-ground event collaborations that drive brand visibility, relevance, and customer acquisition.


This role requires a proactive, street-smart individual who can independently identify opportunities, initiate conversations, negotiate partnerships and execute collaborations across events, festivals, colleges, brands and communities.


Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities across media houses, events, festivals, brands, colleges, communities and digital platforms
  • Initiate and manage conversations with external stakeholders to explore mutually beneficial alliances (e.g., official stay partner, experience partner, travel partner, etc.)
  • Conceptualize partnership structures and collaboration models aligned with marketing and brand objectives
  • Responsible for end-to-end execution of partnerships, including negotiations, scope finalization, deliverables, timelines and on-ground coordination
  • Identify and secure event participation opportunities such as college fests, travel expos, cultural festivals, and pop-ups where the brand can have a presence
  • Plan and execute marketing events and brand activations, including booths, stalls, collaborations and experiential setups
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, content, design, operations) to ensure seamless execution of partnerships and events
  • Manage external vendors, event organizers and partners to ensure commitments and deliverables are met
  • Track and document partnership outcomes, costs, brand exposure, and post-event impact
  • Maintain a pipeline of ongoing and upcoming partnership opportunities to ensure continuous brand visibility
  • Represent the brand confidently in external meetings, negotiations, and events


Qualifications & skills

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, brand alliances, events, sponsorships, or experiential marketing
  • Proven ability to independently identify opportunities, start conversations, and close partnerships
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple external stakeholders simultaneously
  • Comfortable with on-ground execution, travel, and real-time problem-solving during events
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills
