Job Description

The Market Specialist for the Semiconductor (Semicon) Business will be responsible for driving strategic growth, customer engagement, and market development in India’s rapidly expanding semiconductor sector. This role is pivotal in aligning Agilent’s solutions with the needs of semiconductor manufacturers, research institutions, and government-led initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the semiconductor segment.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in semiconductor labs, fabs, and research centers.
  • Act as a domain expert to support sales teams in customer meetings and solution presentations.
  • Contribute to demand generation campaigns and product positioning strategies.
  • Work closely with sales, application engineers, and marketing to drive funnel generation and opportunity conversion.
  • Support training and enablement initiatives for internal teams on semiconductor workflows.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.

Minimum 6 years of experience in sales, business development, or market strategy - preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry.

Proven track record of working with customer labs in India.

Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing workflows, quality control, and testing requirements.

Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and influence cross-functional team.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
