Role Overview

We have an opening for a seasoned Market Operations professional to oversee trading and index operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational excellence across market-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end trading and live market operations.
• Manage the launch and operational readiness of new contracts, commodities, and indices.
• Lead testing, validation, and implementation of trading system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external agencies on operational matters.
• Represent the function in internal and external meetings, including documentation.
• Ensure adherence to service level agreements across operations.
• Manage administration and governance of commodity indices.
• Handle audits, inspections, and committee-related activities.
• Oversee price polling, spot price dissemination, and brand empanelment processes.

Desired Skills

• Strong understanding of financial/commodity market operations.
• Experience in regulatory coordination and audit handling.
• Exposure to analytics and reporting tools (Python, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos) is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
