We are seeking a skilled Software engineer to support our global manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will design, develop and maintain for test automation, data acquisition and process control in our global manufacturing sites

As a Manufacturing Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain LabVIEW- based applications for test and measurement systems within the manufacturing environment.
  • Integrate software with manufacturing equipment, sensors and Automation systems. Linking our hardware with our Smart factory technology.
  • Design data acquisition (DAQ) Solutions and real-time monitoring systems. Creation of monitoring frontend dashboards when required.
  • Maintain, Troubleshoot and Optimize existing LabVIEW applications for performance and reliability. Supporting on time delivery for customers and business.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team within manufacturing engineering and technology to deliver new products. Supporting site setup and integration for product launch.
  • Support Logic Controllers (PLC) and Industrial control systems as needed.
  • Develop procedures and guides to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practice for software development in manufacturing.
  • Document and create revision control logs – Document software designs, test procedures and configurations.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical engineering or related field.
  • Have 2+ years experience with LabVIEW or related software, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Have a proficiency in LabVIEW, Teststand and DAQ
  • Have an experience with Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.)
  • Have a knowledge of database management (SQL etc.) and data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity in C#, Python and/or other programming languages for automation.
  • English language fluency.
  • Have an ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
  • Have Knowledge in Six Sigma/Lean techniques.
  • Can lead initiatives and excellent team communication skills.
  • NI Certified LabVIEW Developer or Architect
  • Background in Automated test systems for electronics or mechanical components.
  • Microsoft PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate.
  • Previous experience with UR (Cobot) and/or Industrial robotics / Numatics – System integration.
  • AWS Twinmaker, Tulip (MES),
  • Good analytical, problem solving, and root-cause analysis skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities effectively
  • Cloud based databasing / Cloud Data access.
