Mission Statement

Manufacturing Quality Control work includes: Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Testing random samples of finished goods. Reporting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods and liaising with Quality Assurance to troubleshoot and resolve problems An Entry Para-Professional (S15) requires very basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through limited work experience and may require vocational education. Responsibilities may include: Work is routine or follows standard procedures, only very occasionally require interpretations or deviation from standard procedures. Works under close to moderate supervision. Communicates information that requires some basic explanation or interpretation.

Your responsibilities:

• Winding QIC entry. Bobbin number, conductor & Winding dimensions, Oil guide & turn drop positions.
• Autoclave register entry as per loading
• Winding megger check
• Core: Stack height, limb pitch, diagonal measurements and visual checks.
• CP2 check and core isolation before winding lowering
• Winding lowering checks and entry. Clearances and visual checks at cp4 stage., Core isolation before VPD
• VPD in and out time entry. Pressing activity
• Final clearances after pressing and other visual checks.
• Tanking clearance checks and time monitoring. Core isolation test.
• Vacuum leak rate and monitoring. Before filling oil sample.
• During filling process checks. After filling oil sample.
• HOC detail monitoring. Bushing clearances. Final assembly visual checks.
• BOM check before FAT. FAT activities as per QAP. Compliance points.
• Visual checks during dismantling. Final visual internal check before closure. Dispatch photos.
• Oil level and POLG marking. All CP stage photos.
• All critical NCs photos and detail update in feedback., QIC monitoring. Adhere to HSE requirements during activity carried out.

Your Background

• Diploma in Electrical.

• Around 2 to 8 years of experience of Transformer manufacturing industry reference.

• Testing active part in manufacturing while taking care of HSE.

• May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision.

• Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.

• May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
