Responsibilities

• Set up and run assembly processes for linear actuators, motors, gear systems, and sub-assemblies
• Define assembly sequences, torque specs, tooling requirements, and work instructions
• Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and early production batches
• Translate engineering BOMs and drawings into manufacturing-ready processes
• Develop SOPs, Process flow diagrams, Assembly checklists, DFM/DFA feedback into product design
• Work with external vendors for - Manufacturing, Procurement and support vendor qualification, audits, and first-article approvals
• Resolve manufacturing and quality issues with suppliers

Who you are

• Final year B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or recently graduated
• Curious, hands-on, and self-motivated with a solid grasp of core mechanical concepts (dynamics, materials, thermals)
• 1-2 years of experience in - Manufacturing operations, Industrial or hardware startup environments
• Strong understanding of - Mechanical tolerances & fits, Machine capabilities, Assembly sequencing, and production SOPs
• Comfortable on the shop floor and in fast-moving startup setups
• Strong ownership mindset
