Manufacturing Engineer

• Reports to Engineering Manager.
• Be prime responsible for industrialization of new projects , including tools , assembly lines and testers
• Able to clearly understand the customer requirements and technical / product requirement as defined by PE team. Develop suitable manufacturing process in consultation with PE and core competency center
• Prepare, Ensure and maintain Bill of Process. Prepare Engineering and production documentation meeting Aptiv and customer / IATF audit requirements
• Identify robust, cost effective manufacturing solutions
• Work with CFT, automation / tooling team and suppliers for timely completion of projects
• Develop and qualify all jigs and fixtures required
• Prepare maintenance plan for machine and tools
• Provide training to team members.
• Other tasks assigned
• Work with quality team for  qualification of part and process . Support PPAP activities
• Working knowledge in SAP , NXCAD
• Selection of Special Characteristics
• Cross-functional coordination, instruction, documentation, problem resolution.
• Manufacturing improvements, which impact quality, cost and delivery with respect to new projects.
• Relevant customer communications.
• Complying to CSR
