Manager-Plumbing & Firefighting Design

Role & responsibilities

• You will prepare and develop MEP designs for electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, HVAC, and ELV systems in line with project requirements.
• You will perform design calculations, system sizing, layouts, and detailed drawings for MEP services.
• You will coordinate with architectural, structural, and planning teams to integrate MEP systems within building designs.
• You will consider site conditions, construction methodology, and sequencing while developing MEP layouts and details.
• You will resolve MEP design and coordination challenges through design optimisation and practical routing solutions.
• You will support site teams by providing design clarifications, revisions, and technical inputs during critical execution stages.
• You will guide junior engineers and designers in preparing calculations, drawings, and design documentation.
• You will ensure all MEP designs comply with applicable codes, safety standards, and approved project specifications.
• You will prepare, review, and close GFC drawings, shop drawings, and final MEP design documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong proficiency in high rise residential MEP drawings, layouts, and system coordination with an experience of 10-15 years.
• Sound knowledge of applicable MEP codes, safety standards, and construction practices
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants and site teams
• High attention to detail with clear communication and strong problem-solving skills
