  1. ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE


  • This role is responsible for Credit analysis along with training of junior credit analyst/RMs.

  • The incumbent will manage the best quality of assets/investments generated by FIG/Treasury in accordance with regulatory standards.

  • Managing loan / investment portfolio of ~Rs2000 crores across FIG/Treasury vertical.


  • Training junior analyst PAN/RMs India.



  1. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE


  1. Business/ Financials


  • Ensuring complete credit under-writing and due diligence of the existing as well as prospective client within defined TAT

  • Ensuring best quality of portfolio / investment of FIG/Treasury through Regular review of portfolio / covenant breaches

  • Training of Junior Credit Analyst /RM

  • Provide development opportunities to the team and ensure career paths and succession plans are charted out, reviewed and updated

  • Handling Internal/Statutory/RBI audit in coordination with various other teams

  • Handling Compliance related issues


  1. Customer


  • All NBFCs/MFIs/Corporate entities/Banks/Broking entities in the portfolio being managed.

  • Client meeting to understand their on-ground functioning & actual performance while reviewing any proposal.


  1. Internal Process


  • Writing notes adhering to internal policies & RBI guidelines on Lending/investments to NBFC/MFIs/Corporates/Banks/Broking entities of bank.

  • Review & updation of internal policies of the group at regular interval.

  • Regular monitoring of portfolio & covenants


  1. Innovation & Learning


  • Updated with latest developments in the market & informing the same to all relevant stake holders at appropriate time.

CA/MBA Finance




Experience

Min 6-8 years’ experience (Banking/NBFC experience)

Functional Skills

  • The candidate preferably should have working experience of min 4-5 years in credit appraisal of NBFCs/MFIs/HFCs/Corporates/Banks/Broking entities.

  • The candidate should be well verse in detailed financial analysis, analytical tools and overall risk assessment measures.

  • The candidate should have good communication skill (written as well as oral)

  • The candidate should be well versed with different lending structures being offered to NBFCs/MFIs/Corporates/Broking entities and should have good understanding of regulatory guidelines and general sense of market events.

  • The candidate should be well verse with necessary regulatory guidelines on lending/investment to NBFC/Corporates/Banks/broking entities.

  • The candidate should be able to check market standing of the borrowers in the portfolio through his off-market contacts.
