Manager-CAE (ADAS Simulation Manager)

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Evaluation of the ADAS ECU from supplier using MIL, SIL and HIL for various features such as AEB, LDWS, MOIS, BSD, DDWS.
• Prepare the DVP for ADAS and simulate using CAE tools like Carsim/Trucksim, MATLAB / Dessault-Scanner, dSpace ASM or similar platform. Integrate sensor (camera, radar, Lidar, Ultrasonic sensor) and controller model in MIL/SIL and HIL simulation environment.
• Simulation of ADAS functionality as per the scenarios mentioned in AIS standards using MIL/SIL and report generation as per standards.
• Further evaluation to simulate edge case scenarios, use of physical road traffic data to devise the scenarios and validate the ADAS Control algorithms.
• Analyze simulation results and provide suggestions for design improvement of the ADAS Control algorithms, Sensor specifications and sensor mounting locations
• Suggesting the DVP for physical test to develop the correlation with MIL/SIL/HIL simulation.
• Collaborate with validation team for HIL simulation setup by providing compatible test cases and virtual models.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in CAE simulation, with at least 3 years in ADAS or autonomous systems.
