As a leading outsourcing partners, we are hiring a Manager IT Budgeting & Financial Governance to work on a project for our client, which is the largest provider of telecoms and mobile money services in 14 countries spanning Sub-Saharan, Central, and Western Africa.

Purpose of Job:

To manage end-to-end IT Financial Governance , including IT budget planning, tracking, approvals, and vendor financial control, while working closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders to ensure cost transparency and financial discipline.

Job Details:

• Experience: 36 years of relevant experience in end to end budget lifecycle
• CTC Bracket: Competitive, aligned with industry standards
• Qualification: BE / B.Tech / MCA / BCA / MTech.
• Location: Gurugram (WFO - 5 days)
• Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days (candidates with a notice period of less than 30 days are preferred)

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands-on experience in IT Finance / IT Financial Governance (not pure Finance or Accounting).
• Proven ownership of end-to-end IT budget lifecycle planning, approvals, tracking (CAPEX & OPEX).
• Experience in writing approval notes, business cases, and cost justifications for IT spends.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of IT CAPEX & OPEX tracking and variance analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Procurement, Vendors).
• Exposure to IT vendor financial management (contracts, commercials, SLAs).
• Good command over Excel and financial reporting for IT cost analysis.
• Ability to present financial insights clearly to IT & business leadership .

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the complete IT budget lifecycle , from annual planning to periodic tracking and reporting.
• Prepare approval notes, business cases, and cost-benefit analysis for IT investments.
• Track and control IT OPEX and CAPEX , ensuring adherence to budgets and financial controls.
• Work closely with IT, Finance, Procurement, and business teams for budget alignment and approvals.
• Manage IT vendor financials , including commercials, renewals, penalties, and performance reviews.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities across IT operations and vendor engagements.
• Support leadership with accurate IT financial data , insights, and decision support.
