Role Overview
The Manager Wellness will be responsible for driving employee wellness initiatives across India. This role requires strong experience in healthcare/wellness management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with hospitals, doctors, wellness partners, and internal stakeholders. The position reports to the Head Administration & Wellness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Wellness Program Management
- Plan, implement, and monitor wellness programs and activities for employees across India.
- Coordinate with service providers such as Cult Fit, Optum, ambulance partners, hospital coordinators, and other wellness vendors to ensure seamless execution.
- Identify and engage best doctors for employee consultations and manage tie-ups, coordinate with internal and external medical professionals.
- Assess wellness needs based on employee feedback and organizational priorities.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives focused on health, fitness, and overall well-being.
2. Medical & Healthcare Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for hospitals, clinics, and medical professionals.
- Maintain strong relationships with doctors and healthcare service providers to facilitate timely support for employees.
- Provide guidance to employees on wellness-related issues and available medical services.
3. Medical Insurance Management
- Manage end-to-end administration of employee medical insurance.
- Assist employees with cashless hospitalization procedures and reimbursement claims.
- Coordinate with TPA/insurance partners to ensure smooth and timely claim settlements.
4. Administration & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with external vendors, wellness partners, and service providers.
- Support the Administration team in Pan-India activities such as AMC management, office upkeep, preparing SOPs, and general coordination.
- Oversee wellness-related contracts, SLAs, and service quality.
- Ensure timely renewals, documentation, and reporting.
5. Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and present wellness dashboards, reports, and management presentations.
- Use Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools to track key metrics and program outcomes.
- Communicate program updates, policies, and wellness initiatives effectively to employees.
6. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with HR, Admin, and regional office teams.
- Display a collaborative, positive, and solution-oriented approach in managing diverse stakeholders.
7. Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel across India based on program and business needs.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong experience in wellness programs and hospital/medical operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong network within the medical community and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation creation.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and service providers.
- Problem-solving mindset with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Experience in Administration functions is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
Experience: Minimum 7+ years in reputed hospitals or healthcare organizations in India.
Education: Graduate / Postgraduate
