Position Overview :

The Manager US Audit is responsible for leading complex audit engagements across diverse industries, ensuring compliance and auditing standards, and delivering high-quality client service. This role involves strategic oversight, team leadership, and business development, including managing team attrition and identifying farming opportunities to grow client relationships.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Technical :

  • Lead and manage HOA engagements from planning through completion.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize audit workpapers ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Independently prepare and review financial statements, notes, and supporting schedules.
  • Monitor progress of engagements and ensure adherence to deadlines and client expectations.
  • Communicate proactively with US Partners regarding work status, issues, and audit updates.
  • Ability to meet client deadlines consistently and deliver highquality work within agreed timelines
  • Address client queries promptly and ensure smooth coordination throughout the audit process.
  • Ensure proper documentation as per firm methodology and auditing standards.
  • Review teamwork, provide feedback, and ensure closure of review notes.
  • Identify issues or variances during audits and recommend corrective actions.


Leadership & Management Skills:

  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing multiple engagements.
  • Strong project management and resource allocation capabilities.
  • Ability to manage team attrition and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Skilled in training, mentoring, and developing team members for growth.
  • Strategic thinking for process improvement and efficiency.


Client Relationship & Business Development Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills for direct client interaction (emails and calls).
  • Ability to develop new client relationships and strengthen existing ones.
  • Expertise in identifying farming opportunities to expand service offerings.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and building trust.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • CA/CPA qualification is preferred
  • 8 to 12 years min. experience is required
  • Strong Knowledge on End-to-End HOA Audits
  • Reviewer and query resolving skills
  • Knowledge of CCH engagement software
  • Comfortable with US shift. (03:00PM-12.30AM)
  • Location : Any QX Location
  • Organized with an ability to multi-task and can manage time appropriately.
  • Strong technical and interpersonal skills
  • Should have good English communication skills - Verbal and written
