Manager - US Accounting & Taxation

About the Company

The company operates in the interior design industry, providing innovative workspace solutions powered by immersive visualization and project management tools.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for US entity/entities in compliance with US GAAP / IND AS
• Manage month-end and year-end closings , ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review and reconcile general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, and intercompany transactions .
• Liaise with US-based auditors, banks, and external advisors.
• Ensure proper documentation and control framework in line with SOX/internal control requirements.
• Drive efficiency in accounting systems, ERP reporting, and cross-border compliance.
• Manage and review Federal, State, and Local income tax filings for US entities.
• Oversee sales tax, payroll tax, and franchise tax compliance.
• Handle transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements between US and non-US entities.
• leadership on strategic financial planning, forecasting, and decision support .
• Lead budgeting, variance analysis, and business performance reviews at project level
• Monitor working capital, cash flow forecasting, and debt servicing metrics.
• Liaise with investors, bankers, and cross-functional leadership teams.
• Drive automation and analytics for real-time financial insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

• CPA / CA / MBA (Finance) with 5-7years of experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, consolidation, Federal & State tax laws, IRS compliance,
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, UltraTax, CCH or equivalent
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
• Ability to manage a small team of 2-3 members across geographies .
