Job Description
Role Summary
The role is responsible for leading and mentoring a team to deliver high quality client outcomes in both transactional and project-based environments. The Incumbent will own issue resolution, addressing challenges across both technical and business domains. The role will drive key initiatives, ensuring measurable results with a strong focus on timeliness, accuracy, and quality. The individual will also serve as a catalyst for process improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and review the transactions as per Team goals
- Do Written and Verbal communication with Onshore/Offshore business partners regarding
- transaction related issues/ queries.
- Preparation or Updating of any Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports
- Ensuring compliance of all internal and client policies
- Respond to assigned audit requirements
- Providing timely updates to Manager and Onshore counterparts
- Active Participate in Projects and Quality initiatives Process improvement ideas, LEAN, Six sigma etc.
Operations Management
- Responsible for day-to-day management of activities on operations floor
- Work allocation, Workflow analysis and Resource planning
- Daily/Weekly SLA monitoring and discussion
- Ensure team performance as per agreed standards (SLA)
Stakeholder Management:
- Effective/Accurate reporting
- Managing client expectations
- Providing timely updates to management and onshore counterparts
- Ensure ongoing Client communications and reviews
People:
- Create an encouraging environment for the team member
- Motivate team for better performance & recognize their efforts through driving right set of E&R
- Responsible for all performance management activities including supervision, goal setting, ongoing
- performance communication, employee engagement, development, review, and mentoring
- Conducting One-O-Ones and meetings with the team
- Lead a team to carry out client delivery
- Career pathing and grooming of employees for next level
Process:
- Ensure delivery as per agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) and work within the set policies and
- guidelines
- Updating all Documentation requirements for the process
- Ensure optimal Training of Team Members
Project:
- Drive adhoc business projects and contribute to LOB efficiency goals
- Drive CI opportunities wherever applicable
Knowledge Management:
- Responsible for Self and Team Domain Learning
- Responsible for seamless Knowledge transfer
Experience & Qualifications
- Graduates & Postgraduate with 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in UK Pension
- Advanced understanding of policies and processes Including-Terminations.
- Leave and Absence management; Investigations and conduct issues
- Should in a team manager role for last 2-4 years
- Good analytical and logical skills
- Good command on MS Office applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word)
- Ability to multitask and self-motivated
- Should have been part of new migrations set up
- Ability to handle difficult client situations and derive strategic solutions
