Job Description

HULP is looking for a Travel, Reservations & Events Lead to own the end-to-end management of our Travel & Event Servicing Desk. This role is ideal for a highly organized, process-driven professional with deep expertise in travel operations, premium servicing, and event logistics.


Key Responsibilities:

Travel Operations & Control

  • Manage domestic and international flights, hotels, and ground transport
  • Oversee reissues, re - validations, cancellations, and refunds
  • Ensure accurate PNR lifecycle management
  • Handle airline and supplier escalations
  • Monitor refund aging, SLA adherence, and audit controls
  • Coordinate with travel infrastructure partners
  • Expertise in Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport required
  • Navigate complex itineraries and last-minute disruptions

Events & Group Travel Logistics

  • Coordinate travel blocks for corporate and private events
  • Manage group flight and hotel allotments
  • Liaise with venues on rooming and transport plans
  • Oversee vendor coordination and budget reconciliation
  • Ensure seamless integration between travel and event execution

Premium Reservations Management

  • Handle restaurant and hospitality bookings
  • Coordinate special requests and last-minute changes
  • Maintain preferred vendor relationships
  • Ensure service excellence and responsiveness

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Act as the primary interface for travel partners
  • Monitor SLAs and service benchmarks
  • Escalate operational issues proactively
  • Support commercial discussions and cost controls

Process, Reporting & Controls

  • Develop SOPs for bookings, cancellations, and event coordination
  • Track refund aging, SLA compliance, escalations, and event budgets
  • Identify process improvements and ensure structured documentation


Requirements:

  • Strong GDS expertise (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport)
  • Deep knowledge of PNR lifecycle, fare rules, reissues, airline refunds, and hotel policies
  • Experience in high-volume, premium travel servicing
  • Process-oriented, able to manage escalations independently
  • Commercial awareness: cost control, net fares, and margin structures
  • Calm under pressure, structured communicator, high ownership, strong coordination


Preferred Experience:

  • Corporate travel desks or travel-tech organizations (e.g., FCM, Amex GBT, CWT, Thomas Cook India, TBO Tek, TripJack, Tumodo)
  • MICE or group travel experience preferred over retail OTA backgrounds
