Job Title: Manager, Fullstack Eng Pune/ Bangalore
Reports To: SQM Director
Job Overview:
APV Technical Manager has accountability to design automated test solutions catering to Production stability targets in application context.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Proficient in communication and experienced in direct engagement with senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage career, training and people related aspects of partners and team leaders within the span of control.
- Manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of assigned employees, including formal people management role
- Consult with business partners on requirements, organize and synthesize to technical requirements and designs
- Communicate status (written and verbal) to project team and management
- Review design documents, come up with project dates and drive the resources to get the projects completed on-time and within budget
- May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
- Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
- Test strategy development, process definition and continuous improvement, Planning and Program Increment planning for testing, overall test management, resource identification, onboarding, and management budget forecasts, issue resolution, coaching/mentoring for new teams, status reporting, test data creation for all levels of testing, etc.
- Build and maintain quality standards and ensure automation test teams deliver quality code
- Tracking automation progress Working with the architect and development leads to make sure the automation is integrated with the Application pipelines for each application through all environments
- Perform quality reviews and address automated script issues
- Support Applications & Infrastructure Migrations stake holders and data validation, applying automation where possible.
- Partner with the Architect and IT leads for risk identification, documentation, and mitigation strategy development.
- Provide demos and roadshows to management and other stakeholders
- Teamwork abilities, to be able to work with various multidisciplinary teams on successful completion of team goals.
- Skilled in bookkeeping of status, action items and deliverable with ADO tracking and management
- Experienced with Excel skills for data analytics, reporting along with leadership and executive presentation skills
Technical Skills
- Overall 15+ years of experience working on Fullstack Engineering with 10+ years of experience in Test Automation using Java, Python, VBScript or any other Object-oriented language
- Expert in Web, WebServices (REST and SOAP) Windows, WPF, Mainframe Test Automation
- Expert in Selenium, UFT, LeanFT and RestAssured or any other open-source automation tools is preferrable.
- Should be able to demonstrate experience in designing automation frameworks, solutions for large scale projects
- Should have experience in designing unattended automation test suites.
- Should have experience in creating custom automation solutions and improve test automation efficiency.
- Should have experience in designing solutions which simplify complex problems, reusability.
- Should have worked on the Architect role and on varied POCs/ POVs and provide solutioning to automation and DevOps issues
- Strong hands-on experience DevOps implementation (Jenkins / ADO /GitHub Actions)
- Worked on building automation frameworks according to problem in hand using suitable design patterns.
- Well experienced in code review which will improve resiliency of automation scripts
- Experience working on multiple operating systems (i.e. Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Good understanding on application monitoring tools like DynaTrace
- Familiarity of Agile Methodology Scrum and project management tools like Azure and Jira
- Knowledge on Service Now and Change management processes
Personal Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalency in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) preferred.
- Related Certifications in areas of Computer Infrastructure, Testing
- Provide mentorship, build and maintaining relationships with Stakeholders.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and tasks under pressure.
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and inquisitive mind sets
- Ability to handle conflict effectively.
- Able to communicate with all levels of management and peers within the organization, written and verbal.
- Flexible with the ability to and work under pressure
- Proactive, strong-minded, quick thinker and assertive.
