Manager - Strategic Sourcing

Key Responsibilities: 

●      Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:   - Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies for Bangalore projects.   - Identify and establish long-term partnerships with suppliers to enhance cost efficiency and mutual collaboration.  

●      Supplier Management:   - Conduct market intelligence and supplier evaluations to identify reliable and competitive vendors.   - Manage supplier relationships to ensure seamless operations and timely deliveries.  

●      Collaboration & Coordination:   - Work closely with the Project Team to forecast and fulfill future material requirements.   - Collaborate with stakeholders across projects to optimize procurement schedules and finalize long-term/annual rate contracts.  

●      Cost Optimization & Negotiation:   - Prepare, Review Cost Comparison Statements and negotiate rates based on budgets and techno-commercial terms.   - Explore opportunities for alternative products and technologies to save costs without compromising quality.  

●      Operational Excellence:   - Ensure timely follow-up with suppliers for the delivery of critical materials.   - Conduct regular stock inspections and store audits to avoid stock-out situations.

●      Category Expertise:   - Manage procurement for key categories including:  

Ø  Civil – Cement. Steel, Ready Mix Concrete (RMC), AAC Blocks, Paver Blocks  , Aluminum Shuttering

Ø  Finishing- Tiles, Doors & Door Hardware, Gym Equipment ,Furniture for Lobbies & Clubhouses  

Ø  MEP -  Electrical (Wires, Switches, LT/HT Panels, Cables) ,  Plumbing (Sanitary Ware, CP Fittings, Pipes)

●      Reporting & MIS:   - Prepare detailed MIS reports for senior management to track procurement activities and performance metrics.  

●      Process Improvement:   - Identify and suggest improvements to procurement processes for enhanced efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications: 

●      Proven experience in managing procurement for large-scale real estate projects, particularly high-rise residential developments. 

●      Strong vendor network and expertise in sourcing materials across the listed categories. 

●      Excellent negotiation skills and a solid understanding of cost optimization strategies. 

●      Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively. 

●      Proficiency in preparing and presenting MIS reports to senior leadership. 

●      Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
