Role Summary

Dayananda Sagar University is seeking a highly driven Sponsorship & Fundraising Manager to lead all fundraising and sponsorship activities for university eventsincluding fests, conferences, cultural programs, sports events, conclaves, and largescale student initiatives.

This role requires a selfreliant performer who can independently source sponsors, pitch, close deals, and execute sponsored events without internal operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, pitch, and secure corporate sponsorships across industries for all major university events.
• Create compelling proposal decks, sponsorship packages, and brand integration plans.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential sponsors; maintain longterm corporate relationships.
• Independently plan and execute sponsored eventsvendor management, logistics, branding, schedules, onground coordination.
• Deliver all sponsor commitments (branding, activations, visibility, engagement metrics).
• Ensure timely closures of contracts, invoices, and documentation.
• Prepare postevent reports and ROI summaries for sponsors.

Candidate Requirements

• 510 years of proven experience in sponsorship sales, fundraising, or corporate partnerships (events, colleges/universities, agencies, sports/cultural IPs preferred).
• Strong existing network with brands, corporates, and agencies.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision; strong ownership and accountability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience handling multiple large events simultaneously.

• Strong event execution background (campus events, festivals, summits, etc.).
• Ability to think creatively about brand integrations and sponsorship ROI.
