Responsibilities

  • Organization Development & Problem Solving Pursues professional growth and provides developmental opportunities for others by soliciting and acting on performance feedback; building collaborative, cross-functional relationships; hiring, training, and developing talent for growth opportunities; delegating tasks and decisions; fostering open dialogue amongst team members.

  • Operational Excellence - Manage designated work stream to meet customer and business needs by translating business plans into tactical action items. Communicate goals and objectives. Oversee work assignments and align team efforts. Build accountability for and measure progress in achieving results. Identify and address improvement opportunities. Assume responsibility for decision making.

  • Culture and Compliance Act as sponsor of Genpacts culture by nurturing HMSs mission and values. Assure the team is operating within the established Genpacts Code of Ethics, policies, procedures and local laws, maintain awareness of local trends (political, economic, competitor, industry, and vendor)

  • Assist Sourcing Lead in developing and cultivating vendor partnerships to meet current and future needs according to strategic direction. Drive / manage product execution from concept to in store delivery of quality product.

  • Assist Sourcing Lead to manage pricing to secure the lower cost options through effective negotiation and value improvement initiatives. Bring industry product/manufacturing insights and innovative product offers.

  • Assist Sourcing Lead to achieve total company financial goals. Understand vendor/factory organizational structure and financial feasibility. Identify potential financial risks and report. Support Lead to develop and strengthen vendor capabilities. Identify and resolve operational issues proactively with the collaboration with cross functional teams.

  • Coach and develop Sourcing Specialist through work assignment, direct training and regular feedback in order to achieve company current / future goals and succession planning needs.

  • Support initiatives for revenue growth of supply chain analytics services for assigned client accounts.

  • Consulting support for retail projects to address client escalations.
