Manager - Software Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager - Software Engineer with 8 + strong experience in building scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Angular, with deployment and infrastructure management on AWS. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of enterprise-level applications

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and PostgreSQL, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of rich, dynamic, and responsive front-end interfaces using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript to deliver intuitive and seamless user experiences.
• Direct the design and optimization of complex PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures to meet evolving business logic and analytical requirements.
• Champion DevOps practices, implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and monitoring solutions using Jenkins, Git, Docker, and AWS CloudWatch to streamline delivery and ensure system reliability.
• Mentor and led cross-functional development teams, conducting code reviews and providing strategic guidance on software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Resolve UI issues and performance bottlenecks by troubleshooting and debugging across the stack, continuously improving user interactions and overall application quality.
• Define and uphold UI/UX standards across projects through collaborative code reviews, ensuring design consistency and technical excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in full stack software development, with strong expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, with 4+ years into team management
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8) with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases including schema design, performance tuning, and writing complex queries.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and participation in full SDLC.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging across the full stack.
• Strong problem-solving skills,
• Proficiency in building responsive, cross-browser, and mobile-friendly web applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
