This is a contractual engagement under the Project Management Unit (PMU) for an initialperiod of 5 years, extendable based on performance and organizational requirements.

JOB SPECIFICATION

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

• Responsible for Implementation of all Advanced Analytics related to AI/ML through Implementation partner.
• Responsible end-to-end product analytics workflow, including formulation of success metrics, creation of dashboards, and reporting across the organization.
• Handle predictive/prescriptive analytics for fraud avoidance, pricing, product recommendation engine, demand forecasting, etc.
• Work with the GeM IT & MSP teams to align the vision for product and predictive/prescriptive analytics, including regular scoping of product/tool requirements as per changing landscape.
• Develop a well-defined self-detection mechanism to identify any malpractice on the platform.
• Develop prediction mechanism to identify risky profiles that should be monitored.
• Build visualizations to communicate data to key decision-makers and preferably familiar with building interactive dashboards.
• Carry out Data Analysis and act as the subject matter expert on operational and business improvement opportunities.
• Identify key data for projects across a variety of data stores and efficiently extract and process it, generating descriptive statistics and extracting insights.
• Validate data, dashboards and models developed by implementation partner to ensure accuracy and quality of the output.
• Post deployment impact analysis, review, random testing, and verification for assigned BI/Analytics modules
• Any other responsibility as assigned by the competent authority from time to time

Key Shared Accountabilities:

• Liaise with internal as well as external stakeholders to identify, propose, and manage the analysis and interpretation of data to support business decisions

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 6 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years of experience in running advanced analytics projects such as AI/ML.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, and/or SQL.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques and predictive analytics, including knowledge of statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.
• Experience with data governance and data quality management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business Experience with machine learning techniques such as regression analysis, decision trees, clustering, and/or neural networks.
• Experience with data mining, cleaning, and preprocessing.
• Experience in handling data warehouse and BI architecture design and development.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Essential: Graduate degree in Engineering, technology, or related discipline from a recognized institute.
• Desirable: Post-graduate degree in Engineering, technology, or related discipline from a recognized institute.

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of data analysts and data scientists.
• Excellent knowledge of using multiple analytics packages and working with large data sets.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced high growth environment.
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Well-versed with one of the leading BI and visualizations tools such as Tableau, Qlik, etc.
