About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP SD Manager to lead the Sales and Distribution function, drive digital transformation initiatives, and manage a team of SAP consultants. The role requires deep functional expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure endtoend process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the SAP SD team, ensuring highquality delivery of support, enhancements, and projects.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define SAP SD strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD solutions for complex business needs.
• Drive integration initiatives across SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, WM, TM).
• Establish and enforce SAP SD governance, standards, and best practices.
• Manage largescale SAP SD projects, including S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
• Ensure high system availability and timely issue resolution through proactive monitoring.
• Review and approve functional specifications for enhancements and RICEF developments.
• Conduct performance reviews, mentor consultants, and develop training plans.

Required Bilingual Soft Skills

• Strong bilingual communication skills in Japanese (preferably JLPT/NAT N3 or above) to effectively interact with Japanese clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to clearly articulate requirements, issues, and solutions in both Japanese and English across cross-functional teams.
• Strong command over both languages to influence key stakeholders through business acumen, technical understanding, and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
• Prior experience in managing expectations and driving alignment between Japanese-speaking stakeholders and global teams.
• Ability to understand SAP functional and technical requirements in Japanese and deliver as per client expectations through effective communication
• Experience working in Japan or with Japan-based clients or team is an added advantage.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, Business, or Information Technology.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP SD with at least 35 years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Extensive knowledge of the OrdertoCash (OTC) cycle and crossfunctional integrations.
• Strong experience in pricing, billing, credit management, logistics execution, and invoicing.
• Handson experience with S/4HANA SD capabilities.
• Experience managing project teams, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• SAP SD or S/4HANA certification.
• Experience in leading SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.

Educational Background

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Business, or Information Technology
