Job Overview:
Deepak Phenolics Limited is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager to drive sales and business development for phenol and acetone products in the North India region. The candidate will be responsible for customer acquisition, key account management, and market expansion across industries such as laminates, resins, coatings, adhesives, pharmaceuticals, and petrochemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets for the North India market.
Identify new business opportunities and develop strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
Expand the customer base across Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and other Northern states.
Drive sales of phenol, acetone, and derivatives by targeting relevant industries.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms while ensuring profitable sales growth.
Market & Customer Management:
Understand customer needs and industry trends to provide tailored product solutions.
Manage key accounts and distributors, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
Provide technical and commercial support to customers for better product application.
Marketing & Brand Development:
Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales campaigns for the North region.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to enhance Deepak Phenolics' brand presence.
Conduct customer training sessions and seminars on phenol and acetone applications.
Operations & Reporting:
Coordinate with the supply chain, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Maintain sales records and provide regular reports on market performance, forecasts, and competitor activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
MBA in Sales & Marketing (preferred).
10+ years of experience in B2B sales and marketing, preferably in phenol, acetone, or specialty chemicals.
Strong industry connections in North India’s laminates, resins, adhesives, coatings, and pharma sectors.
Key Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of phenol, acetone, and their industrial applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and target-driven with a focus on sales growth.
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and data analysis for sales forecasting.
Ability to travel extensively within the North India region.
