Responsibilities:

• Assess Independence related restrictions, assist in scope of service reviews for new/existing clients approaching PwC for services. The assessment, reviews would be under various Independence Rules such as Global Independence Policy, European Union, Securities & Exchange Commission, Indian regulations etc.
• Appropriately and timely escalating independence issues to the Reporting Manager/Director/Partner. Collaborate with the wider Independence and Risk teams across lines of services and share Independence best practices.
• Perform other specific assigned tasks in Independence and allied areas diligently.
• Regular written and oral communications with various stakeholders of the firm.
• Familiar with firm's databases - CES, AFS, Global Independence Portal.

Mandatory skill sets:

CA / LLB with 5+ years of experience

Ability to understand, analyze and interpret the SOP's, threats and safeguards and key independence concepts like related parties, control, significant influence etc. under the Global Independence Policy.
