Within Advisory, PwC has a large team (GovTech) that focus on transformation in Government through
Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and
bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and
effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire
project delivery he/she entrusted with.
Broad Role / Responsibilities
Broad role typically entails our resources to adopt problem solving approach to solve important client
problems and extend support in monitoring / managing large projects; involving following
responsibilities:
 End to end technology management of complex IT projects
 Review the architecture for business applications and suggest improvements;
 Conduct feasibility assessment and roadmap definition for future state.
 Provide technology expertise for the overall design and implementation of planned systems
 Design overall architecture for IT system(s) to enable achievement of defined objectives
 Evaluation of all the existing system options as a solution to cater to project requirements
 Appropriate integration of India Enterprise Architecture and India Stack
 Study and define various integration mechanism of existing solution
 Assess open-source solutions and technology and recommend adoption in planned systems
 Design technical requirements for the tender for selection of System Integrator and project
manage the development of IT system
 Prepare the solution architecture
 Review the architecture for business applications and suggest improvements;
 Conduct technology assessment of current state, and define roadmap for future state.

Broad Experience & Expertise Requirements
 Total Experience of 12+ years with 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture
(preferably in a large-scale program)
 Experience in application design and development, DevOps, either hands-on or in
management/consulting roles
 Experience of working with Government (Central, State, ULBs) / related agencies is preferred
 Experience of working with Taxation agencies on technology initiatives is preferred
 Have hands-on experience working with major architecture components: business process,
information, and infrastructure, is preferred
 Experience in the field of software development and software project implementation
 Experience in prevalent project methodologies e.g. agile and its estimation
 Knowledge of new age technology like microservice, DevOps/DevSecOps and API architecture.
 Extensive experience in designing systems and propose innovative solutions
 Should have a sound understanding of OEM (or Open-Source products), Licensing, etc.

Educational Qualifications (mandatory)
 Full-Time - B.E./ B Tech/ MCA/ MBA
Certifications (mandatory)
 TOGAF or any other industry standard Architecture certification

 Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
 Ability to handle complex assignment independently
 Ability to work with ambiguity. Taking a systematic, structured view of situations.
 Ability to interact with client (senior government officials)
 Demonstrating willingness to do hands-on work and developing a problem-solving attitude
 Strong personal and professional presence and self-confidence, capable of working effectively with
senior team as well as all other levels.
