Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr Architect with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Docker Amazon RDS AWS EC2 AWS EKS Microservices Dynamo DB and AWS IoT. Experience in Manufacturing Execution System is mandatory. The role is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
Lead technical and functional requirements gathering exercisesDesign and document edge and cloud architectures propose improvementsWork with development team to create implementation strategyHelp the development team to solve technical problemsWork with the project manager to mitigate risksDraft requirements specification design specification system description and architecture documents with assistance from the engineering team (Confluence Lucid)Knowledge of AWS Greengrass and Kubernetes for edge computing and container orchestration.Understanding of other AWS products such as IoT Core ELB S3 CloudWatchSoftware development in Java (Spring framework desirable) and PythonExperience with TimescaleDB or other PostgreSQL based databaseDesigning scalable IoT platforms that process high-speed dataDeveloping multi-threaded applications to handle concurrent data streams and processing tasksUnderstanding of Industrial IOT specific requirementsLead the design and implementation of scalable microservices architecture.Oversee the deployment and management of Docker containers.Provide expertise in Amazon RDS for database management and optimization.Utilize AWS EC2 for scalable and secure cloud computing solutions.Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters using AWS EKS.Develop and maintain applications using Dynamo DB for NoSQL database solutions.Integrate AWS IoT for seamless connectivity and data exchange.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Manufacturing Execution System requirements.Ensure high availability and reliability of cloud infrastructure.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
