Those in goods, products and services procurement at PwC will focus on executing, managing and optimising purchase processes and some supplier relationship management. You will be responsible for assisting the organisation in obtaining quality goods at the appropriate price, driving cost savings and operational efficiency.

PwC US ADVISORY – Bangalore AC PROCUREMENT TEAM

The Bangalore AC Procurement team is responsible for facilitating all procurement contracts and supplier interactions on behalf of the Bangalore Acceleration Centre. The team is responsible for end-to-end procurement activities including, but not limited to, conducting effective scoping discussions with business teams, identifying the right suppliers, negotiating commercials, facilitating necessary internal approvals and ensuring effective contracting for all goods and services procured by all teams within the Bangalore Acceleration center.  

Bangalore AC procurement team members will work closely with the procurement lead and the procurement leadership committee to ensure necessary due diligence is done on all procurement activities according to the governing policies and PwC’s code of conduct. The team acts as the first point of contact for all suppliers across multiple categories and ensure timely closure of all procurement requests from the business teams while ensuring all process requirements are fulfilled

Bangalore AC procurement team will also ensure necessary PwC US guidelines are adhered to and will work closely with procurement stakeholders and other control group stakeholders in the US

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Preferred:

Candidates should demonstrate substantial experience and / or knowledge in Sourcing and Procurement Services/ Execution

Below are the details of knowledge requirements:

  • Sourcing and Procurement:    

Primary

  • Contract Management (Working through multiple business stakeholders to take a contract from start to finish, managing contract renewals proactively, quick supplier negotiations)
  • Supplier Management (Conducting QBRs, managing supplier performance, etc.)
  • A strong understanding of procurement operations and/or understanding of procurement outsourcing operating model
  • Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba etc.
  • Understanding of fundamental principles of P2P including spend and commodity taxonomies, requisitioning, PO generation, receiving and invoice processing

Educational Background:

Full-time Bachelor’s degree/equivalent is a must.

Past sourcing & procurement experience would be an added plus. Experience of working with MS Excel, MS Access, Sourcing tools
