Job Position
- Carelon Global Solutions India is looking for a Manager – Process Automation to lead strategic process improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
- This role reports to the Associate Director – Process Reengineering. The successful candidate will collaborate with business units and leadership to analyze and diagnose current processes, identify priorities, and conceptualize new initiatives.
- They will conduct assessments to pinpoint pain points, process and system gaps, and control deficiencies, quantifying these issues through data analysis.
- The role involves proposing a future state with recommendations and solutions and working with stakeholders to develop a business case and implementation roadmap.
Job Responsibility
- Lead and support strategic Process Automation initiatives organization-wide.
- Oversee specific business portfolios and be accountable for achieving CVEC MBOs and goals for supported or led initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including initiative leaders, customer operations leaders, and partner ecosystems within CGS/Anthem.
- Possess experience in executing large-scale process reengineering, consulting, Six Sigma, and Lean projects.
- Manage and drive the Discover - Design - Deploy lifecycle of projects.
- Establish priorities for process improvements across business operations.
- Adopt, leverage, and refine methodologies and tools to deliver results.
- Conduct market research and develop a perspective on the latest trends in the healthcare value chain.
- Understand customer experience drivers and build perspectives to enhance consumer experience.
- Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects.
- Ensure timely communication of project status to stakeholders and the business organization.
- Develop and understand executive KPI dashboards for review and reporting.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on conducted research.
- Stay updated on process improvement tools, techniques, and relevant benchmarking data for related organizations.
- Drive quality frameworks, tools, and metrics across IT and business operations.
- Have hands-on experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodology tools and techniques such as DMAIC, 5S, 5M, and value stream mapping; knowledge of Design Thinking principles and tools (e.g., Empathy Map, Persona Map) is beneficial. A Six Sigma Black Belt is an added advantage.
- Possess working experience in an IT or consulting environment, with a preference for healthcare.
- Be skilled in building process maps using MS Visio.
- Understand ,manage operational risks and controls.
- Possess a strong understanding of the US healthcare sector (payer and provider segments).
- Be familiar with project management disciplines and techniques.
- Be proficient in documenting and implementing Six Sigma and Lean methodologies across the organization.
- Have experience documenting business KPIs and benefits.
- Be experienced in process improvement projects within the US healthcare sector (payer/provider).
Qualification
- MBA/master’s from a tier I business school or bachelor’s degree in engineering/B Com /BBA from a tier I recognized university or Master Degree in Healthcare Administration/ Statistics/Data Science
- Healthcare Certifications would be preferred
- Six Sigma Black Belt would be a preferred qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 9-15 years’ work experience – with min 3-5 years exposure in US healthcare. Top experience/qualifications can be considered in lieu of experience.
- Minimum 3 years in a consulting/process transformation /customer facing environment (healthcare exposure would be preferred)
- Experience in discovery assessment of large & Mid-level transformation projects
- Expertise in MS Office, Visio, Process Mining skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
