Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Knowledge of vehicle aggregates in Auto, Tractor, Trucks ,Bus & Two wheelers
Study & Analysis of SOR/ Drawings for Automotive Seats, Glasses, Seals, mechanisms, mounts and cable components.
Cost Estimation of parts from SOR/drawing/Tech. signoff.
Knowledge of various material grades, manufacturing processes, GD&T, process cycle time, manpower, etc.
Knowledge of CAD, Catia, Teamcentre and selection of ideal manufacturing processes based on drawing/Tolerances.
Vehicle level systems Overall knowledge.
Cost Reduction & Cost Improvements in Seats, Glasses, Seals, mechanisms, mounts and cable components.
Knowledge of MOST techniques,Component Cost Benchmarking, VAVE, Target Costing / Business perspective.
Working knowledge & experience of monitoring projects
Coordination with various agencies (Design/Product Planning / CDMM/Sourcing)
Standiazation of child parts.
Working on Microsoft office. (MS Excel, word, Power point presentation etc)

Bachelor of Engineering; Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical; Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile; Bachelor of Engineering in Production

General Experience

5 Years of relevant experience in the field of Automotive Glasses, Seals, mechanisms, seating system ,mounts, cables in function like part development, manufacturing and sourcing of parts.

Critical Experience

Knowledge of Glasses, Seals, mechanisms, Seating, mounts, cables of Auto,Tractor,Truck, Bus & two wheelers
Knowledge of related processes like injection molding, stamping, Casting, Forging , machining, welding, surface treatment, rubber processing, glass forming, assembly processes etc
CFT working
Understanding of commercials & broad level business practices.
