Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • A strong knowledge of Electronics manufacturing processes, technologies, and principles, including but not limited to Surface Mount Technology, Electronics Module Assembly (Sealed and Unsealed), Die casting, Stamping, plastic injection molding, and subcomponent assembly. Examples of systems and parts: Instrument Cluster, Infotainment, Control panels, ECU’s  and a multitude of module assemblies
  • Sound techno commercial knowledge on latest E&E trends in automobile such as connected vehicles, Infotainment, HUD, ADAS, domain controllers, autonomous driving, SVS, Artificial intelligence with understanding on cost drivers
  • Ability to estimate engineering effort required in Electronics hardware & software development to work out on development cost.
  • Strong knowledge in part production cycle times, material utilization and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Understanding of labor & overhead rates, standard-to-actual ratios, & material factors.
