Job Title: Manager, Payroll and Compliance
Location: New Delhi
Reports To: CPO
Job Summary: Manager, Payroll and Compliance, will oversee the payroll processing and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role involves managing payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all employees for India, Singapore, Dubai, UK, Australia, US & Greece ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
Reporting: Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and regulatory bodies as required. Audits: Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Address and resolve any discrepancies.
System Management: Maintain and update payroll systems and software. Ensure data integrity and security. Employee Support: Address payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees. Provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures.
Documentation: Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation. Ensure proper filing and storage of payroll information.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Payroll related compliance management:
Minimum wage ceiling and understanding as per State Regulations & Shops and Establishment Act
Statutory deductions and remittances against norms as per Provident Fund, ESIC, Gratuity and Bonus Act
Professional Tax remittance for both Employee and Employer as per State Regulations Strong understand on provisions for special payouts and 6th day allowances
Employee HRMIS & Dashboard
Education Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll processing and compliance, preferably in a large organization.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
