Shape Group Lead - AI/ML

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior AI Engineer & Team Lead to build and scale nextgeneration GenAI, LLM, RAG, and AI Agent solutions for enterprise products. This role is 80% handson , with strong ownership of cloudnative AI engineering, team leadership, and delivery excellence.

You will design, implement, and operate AI systems on AWS, ensuring performance, observability, cost efficiency, and seamless integration with enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of AI/Data/Analytics engineers; uphold software engineering best practices.
• Architect, build, and deploy AI solutions including ML serving , RAG , and AI agents .
• Implement monitoring, tracing, performance tracking, cost monitoring, and rollback mechanisms for AI workloads.
• Integrate AI applications with data sources, APIs, and core business systems .
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple functions to align goals and delivery.
• Take functional ownership as an Architect or Senior Data Engineer (IC contribution ~80%) .
• Support hiring, staffing, and capability building within the team.

MustHave Skills

• Confident with Python in cloud-native development on AWS (incl. EKS, Lambda), API development and relational as well as NoSQL databases
• Strong expertise in CI/CD, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), orchestration (Airflow), monitoring and tracing
• Experience with ML/AI concepts (LLM, RAG, Agentic AI, guardrails) and technologies (e.g., SageMaker, LangChain, MCP)
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functional and multi-disciplinary department with excellent stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and collaborate effectively with teams.
