The Mission

In this role, you aren't just a middleman; you are a strategic engine. You will manage the delicate balance between volume commitments and market volatility to ensure our Sales team wins every high-stakes shipment.

Your Core Impact Areas:

• Negotiating FCL rates, credit terms, and essential free days with Tier-1 Shipping Lines.
• Securing allocations during peak seasons and managing "Dead Freight" contracts to eliminate penalty risks.
• Navigating the complexities of Rate Filings, Named Account Contracts (NACs), and Spot negotiations.
• Building a high-speed system to process massive enquiry volumes, ensuring "hot" leads never go cold.

Who You Are

• 58 years of hardcore experience strictly within Freight Forwarding or NVOCC environments.
• An active, pre-existing network of Trade Managers and Captains across India's major hubs.
• Possess a deep understanding of slot arrangements, swaps, and the critical delta between filing and spot rates.

How Success is Measured

• Generate savings by beating the market rate.
• Percentage of space secured versus bookings requested.
• Response time in reverting to internal Sales enquiries.
