Position description: Risk Data Analysis

Purpose of the role: Providing proactive support to the function of risk-management with focus on risk analysis.  Adherence to stipulated regulations for compliance and market integrity.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Stakeholder Liaising - Information to regulators/regulatory teams, Information to management and regulatory compliances.
2. Documentation and Maintenance - Maintenance and Updation of Standard Operating Policies/Procedures, Adherence to requisite SLA.
3. User Acceptance Testing and Presentations - Identifying, monitoring, managing and communicating risks associated with clearing, settlement and counter party guarantee in order to mitigate any impact on Clearing Corporation, Data Analysis, MIS / Dash board on critical risk management observations.
4. Production Support - Understanding of risk concepts, models related to risk management, stress testing and pricing of different asset classes. Monitoring overall market movement, credit exposure of members, price and volatility shifts to manage potential risk from market participants. Execution of activities as identified as part of risk data analytics. Ensure compliance with the regulatory framework specified by market regulator/clearing corporation.

Skills Required:

Education - Essential - Desired – MBA in Analytics

Technical Skills - Mandatory – Basic knowledge of data analytical tools & Advanced Excel functions. Desired - SQL/R/Python.

Nice to have - Progression towards CFA/FRM is an added advantage

Business Knowledge - Broad understanding of financial and capital markets.

Experience - 3- 5 years
