Roles and Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Work closely with vendors, contractors, consultants, and the project site team to coordinate and ensure on-time project completion.
  • Possess knowledge of equipment erection and commissioning activities.
  • Review and verify P&IDs and layouts, and communicate necessary corrections to vendors.

Supplier and Vendor Management

  • Ensure smooth operations of manufacturing processes.
  • Resolve supplier issues and manage relationships to ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Work with the CMUs and NPD team

Process Improvements and Execution

  • Analyse workflows, remove bottlenecks, and implement best practices in 3P manufacturing and new facilities.
  • Ensure cGMP and safety compliance in contract manufacturing locations.
  • Ensure that best practices are incorporated into equipment selection, process flow, space design, and cGMP requirements for existing and new facilities.

Required Knowledge Areas

  • Manufacturing best practices, operational excellence, problem-solving (CAPA), TPM, productivity tools, and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in packing/process equipment, plant automation systems, boilers, HVAC systems, and other utilities.
  • Knowledge of OEE, line efficiency, and yield calculations.
  • Experience with monthly RM/PM and FG reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure Preventive and annual maintenance activities across CMU locations.
  • Knowledge of GMP and GHK practices.
  • Ability to manage workload under pressure and Strong collaboration skills with procurement, quality, Packaging and Regulatory departments
  • Work with Marketing on NPD projects and help to Fastrack the activities
  • Identify new CMUs as per business plan.
  • Good knowledge of CGMP requirements, manufacturing best practices, operational excellence, problem-solving CAPA, TPM, Productivity tools, and quality standards
  • Closely work with Existing CMUs and understand bottlenecks in production planning and work towards resolving the same.
  • Traveling to CMUs units need basis.

Desire skills

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial and Instrumentation Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Should have a minimum 5 to 7 years of work experience and min 3 years work in shopfloor activities.
  • Experience in reputed FMCG or Ayurveda is preferable.
  • Working on Six sigma tools and TPM is preferable.
  • MBA degree is an added advantage.
