Job Description
Department: Learning & Development (L&D)
This role is responsible for building future-ready talent by aligning learning initiatives with business strategy. You will design and execute a robust Learning & Development framework that enhances employee capability, leadership strength, and organizational performance. The position plays a critical role in identifying competency gaps, enabling career progression, and driving sustainable business outcomes through impactful learning solutions.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with organizational vision and growth plans.
- Design structured learning programs including onboarding, leadership development, technical training, and compliance learning.
- Create short-, mid-, and long-term learning roadmaps based on business priorities.
- Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with business leaders, HR partners, and performance data.
- Leverage blended learning methodologiesclassroom, e-learning, workshops, simulations, and coaching.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in Learning & Development.
- Lead end-to-end execution of learning programs ensuring quality, relevance, and impact.
- Measure learning effectiveness and continuously improve program outcomes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver high-impact learning interventions.
- Identify high-potential talent in collaboration with business leaders.
- Design and manage career development paths and succession planning frameworks.
- Enable coaching, mentoring, and stretch assignments to accelerate leadership readiness.
- Strengthen internal talent pipelines to support retention and long-term capability building.
- Ensure all learning initiatives comply with internal policies, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
- Review and update training content in line with regulatory changes (IATF 16949:2016, ISO 45001:2018).
- Maintain documentation and audit-ready records for certifications and assessments.
- Support additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Strong expertise in L&D frameworks, adult learning principles, and engagement strategies.
- Solid understanding of business operations and organizational culture.
- Familiarity with manufacturing standards such as IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 45001:2018.
- Certification in Training & Development / Instructional Design is preferred.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to design impactful, business-aligned learning programs.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities to track learning effectiveness.
- High emotional intelligence with strong listening and influencing skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and quality-driven mindset.

Education:
- MSW / MBA (HR)
Experience:
- 1015 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development.
- Proven experience in strategic L&D planning, capability building, and talent development.
- Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Industrial sector experience highly desirable.
