Job Description

Position Title: Manager Accounts

Department: Accounts

Location: Head Office, New Delhi

CTC Range: 1416 LPA

Role Objective:

To manage purchase and sales accounting operations along with financial reporting and statutory compliance, ensuring accurate accounting records, effective use of SAP, and adherence to company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle purchase and sales accounting, including invoice booking, validation, and reconciliations
• Ensure accurate accounting of GST, input credit, and output tax related to purchases and sales
• Assist in preparation and finalization of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Accounts
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual book closure activities
• Prepare and review financial schedules, reconciliations, and MIS reports
• Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and closures
• Work on SAP for accounting entries, reporting, and reconciliations
• Maintain proper documentation, controls, and audit trails
• Support process improvements within purchase and sales accounting cycles
• Perform other finance and accounting activities as assigned by the Accounts Head

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of purchase and sales accounting processes
• Good understanding of financial accounting, Balance Sheet, and P&L
• Hands-on exposure to SAP (FICO / HANA preferred)
• Knowledge of GST and statutory compliances related to transactions
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 24 years of post-qualification experience in Accounts / Finance
• Experience in purchase and sales accounting mandatory
• Experience in a large corporate / manufacturing setup preferred
