Job Description
Location: Bengaluru, India
Reporting to: Founder / Managing Director
Travel: Philippines & other markets (as required, not frequent initially)
This role is designed to be the execution backbone for international markets, starting with the Philippines and expanding to other markets over time.
The person will NOT replace a Country Manager , and will NOT be a field sales role .
Instead, this role will:
Own end-to-end coordination across regulatory, principals, consultants, distributors, and internal teams
Drive timelines, follow-ups, and closure
Act as the founders execution arm , ensuring things move without constant escalation
This is a high-ownership, low-handholding role .
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Philippines Market Core Focus (Year 1)
1. Regulatory & Market Execution (Non-Technical)
Coordinate with FDA Philippines consultants for:
oLTO
oPCPR / CLIDP filings
oRenewals, queries, timelines
Track and push regulatory timelines aggressively
Ensure principals submit dossiers, samples, and documents on time
Maintain live regulatory trackers (status, risks, dependencies)
Note: This role is not for regulatory drafting , but for regulatory execution & control .
Act as single point of contact for:
oIndian / international manufacturers
oConsultants (regulatory, legal, incorporation)
oLogistics and clearing partners
Ensure commitments convert into action
Escalate delays with clarity and data, not emotion
Support identification of:
oFast-to-market products (OTC, supplements, devices)
oLong-term pharma pipeline
Coordinate pricing, costing, margin structures
Prepare internal launch readiness notes
Support distributor onboarding (documentation, commercials, timelines)
Track:
oImport readiness
oOrder execution milestones
oFirst commercial shipments
Maintain clean documentation
Ensure nothing stalls due to follow-up gaps
Once Philippines stabilises, the role will expand to:
Support additional markets (SE Asia / Africa)
Replicate playbooks:
oRegistration tracking
oPartner onboarding
oLaunch coordination
Become a central international execution role
Not a pure regulatory professional
Not a field sales role
Not an admin / coordinator
Not a wait-for-instructions role
This is an ownership + execution role .
Philippines LTO + FDA processes moving without founder follow-up
At least X PCPRs / CLIDPs filed
Zero missed timelines due to follow-up gaps
Clear execution dashboards in place
612 MonthsFirst commercial launches executed
Distributor onboarding completed
Founder dependency reduced materially
Ready to take on second market
510 years experience in:
oPharma exports / international business
oRegulatory coordination / market launch roles
Has worked with multiple external stakeholders
Strong at:
oFollow-ups
oClosing loops
oManaging ambiguity
Comfortable working remotely with accountability
High integrity, low ego, execution-first mindset
Education:
Pharmacy / Life Sciences / MBA (preferred, not mandatory)
To prevent founder burnout
To ensure markets move even when the founder is unavailable
To build a repeatable international execution engine
This role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong follow-up discipline, and the ability to work independently without daily supervision.
Candidates who prefer structured corporate roles with fixed boundaries may not find this role suitable.
