Role profile:

We’re looking for a multifaceted, detail driven manager to join the digital experience squad in our global internal comms (IC) team focusing on delivering exceptional digital experiences. This role plays a critical part in the operational excellence to help us connect and communicate with colleagues across LSEG through our internal platforms – including our intranet (Connect), Poppulo (email), digital signage and Viva Engage.

Your mission: to make sure these platforms run smoothly, scale effectively, and continuously evolve to meet the needs of our people. You’ll bring a strong background in operations and process optimisation, a deep understanding of digital communication tools, and a data-first mentality — with Power BI expertise being necessary.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll establish and maintain robust processes, ensure delivery hygiene, and unlock efficiencies that help the team scale. Over time, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of one or more of our key platforms, such as Viva Engage, our digital signage estate, or our email tools.

ROLE SUMMARY:

  • This role reports into the Director, Internal Communications, Digital Experience and will be part of a team developing and implementing a comprehensive digital communication strategy that supports LSEG’s business goals, motivating and inspiring LSEG people in our purpose strategy and culture
  • An experienced, passionate and data driven comms professional with a strong understanding of internal comms channels.
  • Experience will include some of the following: leading and optimizing intranet, Poppulo (email), internal social channel (Viva Engage) and digital screens to enhance employee engagement, ensuring outstanding user experience and using data and insight to drive ongoing improvements.
  • Operational Excellence: Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes to ensure smooth execution of digital communications.
  • Project & Workflow Management: Track and supervise deliverables, timelines, and dependencies across multiple digital channels.
  • Governance & Hygiene: Establish standards and best practices for content hygiene, compliance, and quality assurance.
  • Vendor Management: Handle relationships with external vendors and partners, including contract oversight, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
  • Data & Insights: Derive actionable insights from content and channel performance data and drive continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Power BI: Work with the technology team to articulate requirements, define and deliver effective BI dashboards in addition to having working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Team Enablement: Act as the operational glue for the Digital Channels Team, ensuring alignment, accountability, and efficiency.
  • Channel Ownership: Dynamically take on strategic and operational ownership of one or more digital channels.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Establishing Operational Frameworks: Design and implement scalable processes to handle digital communication workflows efficiently.
  • Driving Execution Excellence: Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of content across internal digital channels.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track results, maintain dashboards, and provide regular updates on performance and progress.
  • Maintaining Channel Hygiene: Set and implement standards for content quality, consistency, and compliance across platforms.
  • Vendor Coordination: Handle external vendors, are responsible for SLAs, and ensure smooth teamwork and service delivery.
  • Team Teamwork: Act as the operational backbone of the Digital Channels team, enabling seamless coordination and execution with the extended internal communications, technology and operations team.
  • Data-Driven Improvements: Leverage analytics and insights to identify gaps, optimize processes, and enhance channel effectiveness.
  • Channel Ownership Pathway: Prepare to take end-to-end ownership of one or more digital channels, including strategy, execution, and performance.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in operations, program management, or digital communications.
  • Tried experience in leading one or more digital communications channels.
  • Shown operational expertise in setting up and optimizing workflows, processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Analytical attitude, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Experience with analytics tools (preference Power BI).
  • Exposure to agile methodologies or project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proactive and determined approach.
  • Adaptability and growth mindset, with the ambition to take ownership of a digital channel and evolve into a strategic leadership role.
