Job Description
Job Manager Integrated Management System and Quality Assurance
Industry Preference : EPC, Heavy Engineering, Industry Equipment (Candidates from Automotive Industry are not preferred, )
Educational qualifications and experience required:
- B E/ B Tech in Mechanical engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance function along with handling overall Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 50001) of an organization
- Lead auditor in ISO 9001 / ISO 14001/ ISO 45001 / ISO 50001 ( Must Have skill)
- Experience in inspection of fabrication / Bought out components will be an advantage.
Job profile requirements
- Scheduling internal / external audits, compilation and analysis of the non-conformities, preparation of procedures related to IMS, documentation, conducting management meetings
- Review the audit calendar and ensure implementation in compliance with ISO, OHSAS & other applicable standards
- Ensure compliance with ISO processes, certifications, and meeting ISO requirements within the Steel Fabrication QA function
- Conduct ISO audits and take necessary actions to address and close any external audit findings
- Collaborate with all departments for streamlining IMS
- Create awareness and training in IMS to all concerned
- Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation as per set policy, procedures and guidelines
- Keep self-abreast with changes in industry, changes in quality assurance and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures.
- Instil a culture of continuous development and high performance within the own team
- Provide troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical support to address any quality-related issues that may arise
- Create stage wise quality inspection & testing plans in-consultation with Head Quality in adherence to set quality standards
- Ensure implementation of CI tasks, process measurements (PQCDSM) and data analysis in fabrication Manufacturing QA section & prepare summary for continuous improvement
- Coaching and educating shop floor employees on quality standards and processes
- Perform Why-Why analysis to investigate and address feedback received from the site, aiming to continuously improve quality performance.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), procedures, and operating instructions to standardize quality practices
- Capture and document lessons learned in a lessons learned register, implementing Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) in future projects to prevent recurring mistakes or incidents
- Evaluate training and development requirements and make recommendations for learning interventions
