Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to handle multiple courses at a time
• Ability to manage a team of 5-7 Instructional Designers
• Initiate a course and once streamlined, delegate, and detach quickly 
• Strong ability to train and mentor team members and vendors
• Ability to estimate efforts on a course correctly (without much deviation from actuals) in collaboration with PMs
• Work with PMs to ensure timelines are met; monitor the course progress based on team efficiency and take proactive and corrective measures when needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or PHD
• Any specializations in Educational Tech, Instructional Design, Mass Communication, or Journalism are highly desirable.
• 8+ years in Instructional Designing in Higher Education domain with any reputed eLearning content development company (last 2 years in Managerial or Team Lead role)
• Specialized knowledge: Instructional design, online learning, video-based learning, mobile learning, working experience in Higher Education Domain {Undergraduate and Post Graduate Degree Programs}
• Professional certification: Instructional design, video editing is a plus
• Desired characteristics: Team player, Ability to work in agile methodology, Ability to grasp technical concepts and simplify them visually, Strong visualization and visual design skills, Innovative, Attention to detail
  Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• An inclination towards understanding academic content that may be complex or technical in nature
