Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination:
Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing projects.
Coordinate project activities, resources, and information.
Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Track project performance to analyse the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
2. Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and system reports.
Ensure all project documents are up-to-date and accessible to team members.
3. Support and Administration:
Provide IT administrative support to developers and other team members.
Manage IT-related tasks such as liaising with the IT helpdesk and maintaining IT inventory.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT systems and applications.
4. Agile and Scrum Practices:
Apply Scrum and Agile methodologies to manage and deliver projects.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Technical Knowledge:
Knowledge of SAS Studio, SAS DI (Data Integration) and SAS SMC (SAS Management Console), SQL.
6. Communication and Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Foster a collaborative environment and promote teamwork.
Provide regular updates on project status and escalate issues when necessary.
7. Continuous Learning:
Demonstrate an eagerness to learn SAS coding and other technical skills.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
Education: MSC, BTECH IT/Computer, Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (BSc IT) or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Experience in creating and maintaining project documentation.
Basic knowledge of SQL, SAS DI, SAS Studio and SAS SMC.
Understanding of project coordination and IT administration.
Familiarity with DWH department operations in the insurance domain.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
