Manager / Head Background Check & Compliance (US/Canada)

Location: Pune or Lucknow (Night Shift)

Experience: 8+ years in U.S. HR/Compliance operations with 3+ years in team leadership

• Lead and manage a team handling U.S. background checks, compliance, and asset return operations
• Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws , FCRA, I-9/E-Verify, and client requirements
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding compliance, documentation, and audit readiness
• Manage asset inventory and recovery for company and end-client equipment
• Partner with HR, TA, IT, Payroll, Legal, and Compliance teams
• Identify compliance risks and drive corrective actions
• Report compliance and asset status to senior leadership
• Should be comfortable working onsite and in Night shift.
