JOB PURPOSE

The Green Building & Sustainability Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, technical activities, stakeholder coordination, and program implementation of the Centre for Sustainability promoting sustainable construction, resource efficiency and green building practices across all projects in India.

The role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills and policy awareness, with the ability to liaise effectively between developers, consultants, certification bodies, and government agencies

Job description

• Drive green building & net zero awareness to architects, engineers, developers, corporates, consultants, material suppliers from the real estate sector.
• Work on policy advocacy with various government departments and institutions.
• Promote Green Building Certification program by providing technical expertise to Developers and stakeholders on Green Building Certification, ESG frameworks and Net Zero pathways.
• Liaise with developers to expand sustainability initiatives and build strategic partnerships.
• Prepare presentations,communication and similar promotion material for enhancing awareness thru national events.

Required Candidate profile

• Sustainability consultant with 10 years of experience specializing in energy, water, and waste management, carbon reduction and net zero strategies, climate action planning and enhancing corporate environmental performance.
• Well-versed in green building rating systems including LEED, WELL, EDGE, and GRIHA and GRI sustainability reporting.
• Skilled in performing technical evaluations and gap analyses, and formulating sustainability standards and framework for design, planning, and operational efficiency
• Understanding of ESG, life-cycle assessment, waste/water/energy efficiency, and Net Zero concepts.

Annual Remuneration: 12-15 LPA
