Location: DBS Global University, Dehradun

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and entrepreneurial professional to drive the universitys Incubation & Start-up ecosystem while also teaching and mentoring students in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Start-up Development.

The role blends academic engagement, start-up ecosystem building, and operational leadership, making it ideal for candidates eager to shape future entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities

A. Incubation & Start-up Ecosystem Development

• Manage daily operations of the Incubation & Start-up Cell .
• Identify, onboard, and support student-led and faculty-led start-ups .
• Design and implement structured programs for ideation, validation, acceleration, and commercialization.
• Build partnerships with industry, investors, accelerators, government bodies, and funding agencies .
• Organize innovation events: hackathons, pitch days, start-up bootcamps, demo days, and mentoring sessions .

B. Teaching & Student Engagement

• Teach and facilitate courses/workshops on Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Business Models, and Start-up Management .
• Mentor students on business planning, market validation, pitch deck creation, and investor readiness.
• Promote entrepreneurship culture across all academic departments.
• Guide student teams in national and international start-up competitions and grant programs.

C. Funding, Grants & Growth

• Identify and apply for government & private incubation grants .
• Support start-ups in fundraising and investor interactions.
• Track performance indicators: number of start-ups incubated, funds raised, partnerships created, student ventures launched, and success stories.

Eligibility Criteria

• MBA (Mandatory) preferably in Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Marketing, Finance, or Operations.
• 23 years of relevant working experience in start-ups, incubation centers, accelerators, innovation labs, venture development, or entrepreneurship programs.
• Prior exposure to start-up ecosystem, business development, or entrepreneurial mentoring is highly desirable.
