What youll do

Lead and manage a team of Java developers, overseeing application development and support

Guide the design, build, and deployment of scalable Java/Spring Boot solutions aligned with business needs

Collaborate across teams, defining project scope and deliverables with stakeholders, product managers, and engineers

Enforce coding standards and best practices through code reviews to ensure high-quality development

Mentor and coach team members, providing ongoing technical guidance and supporting their growth

Manage project timelines, resources, and budgetsensuring on-time and in-scope delivery

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and complex technical issues

Drive hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing team development

Stay updated on the latest Java, cloud, and containerization tools and trends

Serve as technical escalation for critical project challenges

What you will bring

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

1214 years relevant experience, with 34 years managing multidisciplinary development teams

Deep expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, building RESTful APIs

Hands-on experience with Kafka (data pipelines/streaming) and Redis (caching/real-time)

Proficiency in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred)

Experience with Angular or React is a plus

Proven project management and Agile development skills

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
