Role Overview
The Manager Directors Office will work as a strategic and operational extension of the Director, supporting business performance, operational excellence, and execution of high-impact initiatives across the retail network. The role blends analytics, operations, coordination, and pilot execution, and is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, decision-heavy environments.
This role will actively support pilot projects, scale-up initiatives, and transformation programs, converting data and insights into on-ground execution.
Key Responsibilities
Directors Office Support
Act as a single-point operational and analytical support to the Director.
Prepare leadership-ready MIS, dashboards, review decks, and performance summaries.
Track key business priorities, action items, and strategic initiatives driven by leadership.
Business Performance & Analytics
Own business performance tracking across sales, operations, finance, and supply chain.
Build dashboards covering revenue, margins, productivity, cost efficiency, and store-level KPIs.
Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Pilot Projects & Strategic Initiatives
Work closely with the Director on pilot programs, including:
New store formats or layouts
Process improvements and automation initiatives
Cost optimisation or pricing pilots
New operating models or workflows
Define pilot metrics, track outcomes, analyse results, and recommend scale-up or corrective actions.
Operational Excellence & Execution
Drive cross-functional coordination to ensure timely execution of leadership initiatives.
Monitor progress through trackers, follow-ups, and review mechanisms.
Support rollout of best practices across stores and regions post-pilot success.
Financial & Business Analysis
Support budgeting, cost analysis, pricing evaluation, and feasibility assessments.
Prepare cost sheets, business cases, and ROI/NPV analysis for new initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with sales, operations, finance, supply chain, and admin teams.
Ensure alignment between strategic intent and ground-level execution.
Act as a problem-solver and escalation support for leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
710 years of experience in business operations, analytics, strategy support, or leadership office roles.
Strong exposure to retail or FMCG environments with multi-location operations.
Excellent command over MIS, dashboards, Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and business reporting.
High business acumen with the ability to connect data to decisions.
Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and handling confidential matters.
Strong execution mindset, ownership, and follow-through capability.
Clear communicator with the confidence to challenge, influence, and align stakeholders.
