Job Title: Manager – Corporate Finance and Lending Operations
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a proactive and smart individual to join our Finance team in the role of managing funding requests, construction finance, and coordinating with lenders for proposal evaluation.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth loan disbursements, compliance with lenders' requirements, and coordination with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and collating basic information related to new funding requests for land acquisition, construction finance, etc.
- Preparing deal decks for lenders and conducting discussions with them regarding the funding proposal.
- Coordinating and providing information requested by lenders and consultants for proposal evaluation.
- Updating Company data on an ongoing basis, including information related to ongoing projects, completed projects, and sales achieved, by coordinating with the respective Stakeholders.
- Conducting discussions related to sanction letters with lenders.
- Reviewing pre-disbursement documents and coordinating execution.
- Ensuring adherence to post-disbursement compliances.
- Processing NOC requests received from the Collections/ Recovery Team and following up for their receipt.
- Monitoring and facilitating monthly interest payments, including follow-up with lenders, checking amounts, and informing the respective team for further actionable
- Reviewing loan statements and ERP ledgers to ensure balance matching. Coordinating with lenders and the General Ledger team if any discrepancies are found.
- Ensuring compliance with monthly Sales MIS and Cost MIS requirements of lenders.
- Meeting quarterly lender compliances.
- Coordinating with the Escrow Bank Account for opening new accounts, handling issues, managing funds, and ensuring smooth net banking operations.
- Managing loan closure formalities, including the preparation of the Release Deed, closure of the loan account, and closure of the bank account associated with the loan.
- Conduct discussions with the Lender Operations team regarding initiatives such as sweep, repayment, interest amount calculations, and LOD (Letter of Demand).
- Coordinating weekly funding review meetings, updating data, and participating in discussions with the management team regarding current loans and developing a repayment/drawdown strategy.
- Preparing credit rating and renewal information and coordinating with rating agencies.
Requirements:
- A Masters degree in Finance, CFA candidates will get first consideration.
- At least 3 years of experience in finance and lending operations from the real estate or construction sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines.
- Expertise in financial modeling and credit analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
- Should have worked in an ERP system, Preferably Farvision
